Location in a fictionalized version of the San Francisco Bay Area. The game is played in third person, and you navigate your planet on foot or from your car. The cooperative multiplayer mode allows for aggressive one-on-one combat and the ability to connect with other players to neutralize a participant who is doing damage.

WATCH DOGS 2 GAMEPLAY:

Comparable to its predecessor, Watch Dogs 2 Total Game is an action-adventure game with stealth components. Inspired by a 3rd person perspective as protagonist Marcus Holloway – a young hacker in Oakland, California – the game comes with an open-world location in a fictional version of the San Francisco Bay Area more than twice as large as the Chicago setting in Watch Dogs. The Bay Area is made up of four distinct regions: San Francisco, Oakland, Marin and Silicon Valley, each with a different aesthetic and characteristics. Players can explore the city on foot or with the various vehicles included in the game, such as cars, trucks and buses, cable cars, motorcycles, quads and boats. The driving mechanics have been reworked and developed to be accessible.

Players can also carry their weapons while forcing. Marcus also has enhanced acrobatic abilities and can parkour through a city. Players can use unique techniques to tackle the game’s missions, choosing a competitive strategy where they defeat enemies with firearms made from a 3D printer, explosives like mines, or Marcus’ own melee weapon, Thunderball, a billiard ball attached to a rubber band. Players can also use the stealth strategy, which involves avoiding enemies and briefly incapacitating them with Marcus’ Taser.

LeBron James, who suffered a sprained ankle in the home loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, is suspended indefinitely.

March 21, 2021 by Victor Leave a Comment

LOS ANGELES – LeBron James sprained his ankle and is out indefinitely, the Los Angeles Lakers announced Saturday.

James left the Lakers’ 99-94 loss to the Atlanta Hawks in the first half after a collision between Solomon Hill and his right ankle. James knocked over a chair in frustration on his way to the locker room and underwent X-rays and an MRI after the game, according to ESPN.

Hill was fouled with 10:50 left in the second quarter when the Hawks forward fell on James’ right ankle while attempting to steal the ball.

James immediately screamed in pain and rolled off the court holding his right leg. The Lakers took a timeout to check on the 18-year veteran. Several teammates, trainers and medical personnel ran across the court to surround James as he lay on the floor.

“I’ve probably never seen him scream and scowl like that,” teammate Kyle Kuzma said.

Nothing angers and saddens me more than not being available to and for my teammates! I’m hurt inside and out right now. 🤦🏾‍♂️. The road back from recovery begins now. Back soon like I never left. #ThekidfromAKRON🤴🏾

Several of James’ teammates took offense to Hill’s involvement in the game.

“A guy dove for a loose ball and got his leg under him,” Montrezl Harrell said. “I really don’t feel like it was one of those loose ball plays. He had to go through his leg to get the ball, man. He was turned to the side. The ball was behind him. I mean, you jump at an angle, go that way, I mean, I don’t know how you think it’s a loose ball. ”

Dennis Schroder agrees.

“It’s a wasted play, jumping in the leg like that,” he said.

After the game, Hill addressed a note on Twitter to critics who might have thought the move was intentional.

James, 36, was able to get up under his own power and limped to the bench, where he laced up his sneakers and stayed in the game after the timeout.

On the Lakers’ first possession after the timeout, James hit a 3 from the corner to increase his stat line to 10 points on 3-of-6 shooting. That kept his streak of 1,036 consecutive games – including Saturday – with 10 or more points alive.

Krista Vernoff, director of Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19, talks about the shock of the crossover and its aftermath.

The Lakers took another timeout soon after and James left the game for good with 10:04 left in the second quarter with his team trailing 34-30.

Shortly thereafter, the Lakers announced that he would not be returning.

Lakers vice president of basketball operations and general manager Rob Pelinka and Anthony Davis were among the group of Lakers employees who escorted James to the locker room.

“I’m not going to disclose LeBron’s mood internally,” Lakers coach Frank Vogel said. “That’s internal.”

Kuzma said the team did not see James after the game and the four-time champion did not speak to reporters. However, he wrote an optimistic message on Twitter.

would never disrespect the game and take a player out purposely… he knows that. that’s all that matters to me. praying for a speedy recovery. #riptothementionstho #moredmsthansaweetie

The Lakers’ next game is Sunday in the second half of a back-to-back against the Phoenix Suns. James flew with the team for that game, according to a team spokesperson.

Some players expressed optimism about James’ prospects for recovery after the game.

“He’s already recovered and will do so again in a few days,” Schroder said, “so I’m not worried.”

Said Harrell: “The guy is a professional, man. I don’t think it’s going to set him back too much, but he’s only human, man.”

Before Saturday’s game, James was averaging 25.8 points, 8.1 rebounds and 8.0 assists and had played in all but one of the Lakers’ games this season, putting his name at the top of the MVP conversation. L.A. lost the game James missed to rest, 123-120, to the Sacramento Kings just before the All-Star break.

The defending champions were already short-handed, without an All-Star in Davis for the last 14 games because of a strained calf and tendinitis in his right leg, and have played the last seven games without starting center Marc Gasol while he followed the league’s health and safety protocols.

“We have enough offensive power and we have a defensive mentality with our group, so I think we have enough to win,” Vogel said.

Krista Vernoff, director of Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19, talks about the shock of the crossover and its aftermath.

March 12, 2021 by Victor Leave a Comment

SPOILER ALERT: This article contains details about the March 11 episodes of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19.

Just like the fall finale, “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Station 19” returned from their hiatus with another powerful and deeply emotional crossover. Tonight’s episodes dealt with the aftermath of the dramatic off-duty rescue of two black teenage girls by the Station 19 team and the arrest of Robert and Dean by an overzealous white cop. The series also said goodbye to one of Grey’s Anatomy’s doctors, Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti), as ABC’s ominous promo hinted. (Read Deadline’s interview with Gianniotti here).

As the firefighters at Fire Station 19 try to digest the events of the previous day and discuss the problems of racism in the police force, the series successfully concludes its season-long kidnapping storyline. When we last saw DeLuca in the cliffhanger of the fall finale, he had just spotted Opal – the child trafficking suspect who sparked his manic episode last season – in the parking lot of Grey Sloan and drove off with his sister Carina to follow Opal’s car. The DeLucas called in Carina’s friend, Captain Maya Bishop of Station 19, and her team to help with the operation. Eventually, Opal was arrested, but not before her accomplice stabbed DeLuca.

With his sister by his side, DeLuca was taken to Grey Sloan, where he underwent successful emergency surgery under the direction of Owen and Teddy, but then developed DIC and died in the operating room despite Owen and Teddy’s best efforts.

While on the verge of death, DeLuca was able to spend time on the beach with Meredith in a dream sequence, and she subsequently became unresponsive and was placed on a ventilator.

UEFA Europa League results: Arsenal and Tottenham in round of 16, Manchester United draw with Milan

“I don’t know what’s going to happen, Meredith, but whatever happens, I want you to know that I’ve never felt like you’ve seen me, I’ve never felt inspired like you’ve been inspired, you’ve made me not only want to be the best I can be, but even better,” he said. The duo, whose budding romance was interrupted by the pandemic, had one last touching conversation before DeLuca told her, “You’re going to be okay, Meredith,” and then ran to his late mother, who waved. While her body passed out in the operating room, he was reunited with his mother on the beach in a heartfelt embrace.

In an interview with Deadline, Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 showrunner Krista Vernoff talks about the decision to kill DeLuca this season, the significance of his death and the impact his sudden death will have on his sister Meredith and the other doctors at Grey Sloan. She also talks about a big Teddy-Owen arc that will follow their new connection as they fight for DeLuca’s life, and a George Floyd/BLM storyline in Ward 19. She also explains if we’ll see DeLuca again and discusses Meredith’s status – as well as the status of the series not being renewed for Season 18. (You can read more about that here).

DEADLINE: When did you decide that DeLuca’s character would die? Was his mental health crisis last season a point where you thought about killing him off?

KRISTA VERNOFF: No. That was one of the first creative ideas I had when I was imagining what this season would look like. It’s like I said. The stories tell themselves. I just try to write them down as fast as I can, and this story told itself as I was walking on the beach and imagining the season, and I was like, “Oh, no, really?! But it felt powerful and important, and I don’t always know why, but that’s the story that came.

DEADLINE: Was it important to you that DeLuca fully rehabilitate himself before he died? He helped the kidnapped girl and Bailey earlier in the season and did one last brave thing by having Opal arrested.

VERNOFF: Yes. It was extremely important to me that it be clear that he overcame his mental health crisis and that the rest of the story with the sex trafficking was rooted in his bravery and his goodness as a human being, and I think we got that right. I didn’t want to risk sending the message that he died because of his mental illness. He died after overcoming his mental crisis, with courage and strength, and he died a hero. He probably saved many lives in the future.

DEADLINE: What was your conversation with Giacomo about his character’s passing?

VERNOFF: This story was the most vivid

DEADLINE: How will DeLuca’s death affect his sister, Meredith and the other doctors at the hospital?

VERNOFF: The impact will be profound. He had become very popular, and all of these doctors had come together during the surgery and started to take an interest in him. That has an impact on his sister and everyone who loved him. The big question mark is Meredith. You know, Meredith is not awake, and even though she was on the beach with DeLuca, there’s a question mark about how this is going to affect her.

DEADLINE: In DeLuca’s conversation with Meredith on the beach, he sounded prophetic when he told her, “Meredith, it’s going to be OK.” Should we conclude that he’s right?

VERNOFF: Yes. Should we read anything into that? I don’t. We’ll know more about it.

Can you tell us when we will know Meredith’s fate?

VERNOFF: Don’t you want to watch the show play out?

DEADLINE: Yes, but there’s also a lot of anxiety.

VERNOFF: I know it’s painful and it’s scary. That goes for Covid, too.

DEADLINE: What was it like working with Giacomo and the rest of the cast on his final episode?

VERNOFF: I feel like everyone did their best on all the storylines, and I’m really grateful to Giacomo. What I said to him at the table reading when we read this episode was, thank you for playing this character so powerfully and beautifully, for giving the world the opportunity to feel our collective grief over your death.

I come as a pilgrim: Pope Francis begins historic visit to Iraq

DEADLINE: Will we see him on the beach after DeLuca’s death? This is a great opportunity for you to bring back the characters you want.

VERNOFF: There was talk about bringing him back to the beach, but we all found his outing with his mother so deep and powerful. I cried more at that sight than I’ve ever cried at anything on our show in years, and so we didn’t want him to go back to the beach. You will see him again. He’ll show up in more episodes this season, but I don’t want to spoil what that is.

DEADLINE: Is anyone new coming to the beach this season?

VERNOFF: I would say chances are you’ll see other people on the beach.

DEADLINE: In his final hours, DeLuca seemed to bring Owen and Teddy together in their grief when they couldn’t save him. And Teddy had just let Koracick go when it happened. Are Owen and Teddy reconciling again?

VERNOFF: Owen and Teddy have a big storyline in the next two episodes.

DEADLINE: In Station 19, watching the characters react to the events of the fall finale, it almost feels like listening to the show’s writers themselves in the writers’ room react to the events of last summer. What was it like writing these conversations between the different firefighters?

VERNOFF: Well, we have a very diverse cast and a very inclusive writers’ room, and we honor and include many voices and many perspectives when we talk about these deep issues. So it’s a very open process.

DEADLINE: What’s next for this group? Dean’s lawsuit is a new development that could provide insight into the court system. Is that something that will be an important story line in the future?

VERNOFF: Yes. It’s an important storyline for the whole season. Our season is still set in May and June of 2020, and if you remember, in April, May and June of 2020, as a nation, we dealt with the death of George Floyd and the uprising that followed, and so we’re bravely confronting a lot of those issues in the series.

DEADLINE: Will the death of George Floyd be included in the series?

VERNOFF: Yes.

DEADLINE: Mainly in Ward 19 or in both series?

VERNOFF: In both series to some degree, but it’s very central to Station 19.

DEADLINE: You ended the fall series with two very heavy episodes, back to back, with the death of Bailey’s mother and the death of DeLuca in the first episode. Are there any light, breezy episodes of Grey’s coming soon?

VERNOFF: Is there a light and playful Grey’s to watch? Maybe later in the season. We have some pretty intense things coming up, and that’s just the nature of the year we’re in. It’s just a reflection of the year we’ve just had, and I would say there are some nice light moments. Not breezy, but when DeLuca’s mom shows up on the beach. I mean, what could be better than that? Yes, it’s deep, and yes, you feel your feelings, but I would say these episodes are not alone

I come as a pilgrim: Pope Francis begins historic visit to Iraq

March 5, 2021 by Victor Leave a Comment

IRBIL, Iraq – Pope Francis has arrived in Iraq for the first ever papal visit to the predominantly Muslim country. He begins a four-day visit to Baghdad where yellow and white Vatican flags and portraits of the pontiff float on hastily weeded traffic circles.

Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kadhimi welcomed Francis at Baghdad International Airport. He was greeted with fanfare as he walked down the red carpet and then by a choir as he entered the airport.

Crowds waved Iraqi and Vatican flags as he passed by to speak to the Prime Minister in a reception area of the airport. The conversation was not broadcast. As Francis left the airport, he passed people dancing and singing, few of whom were wearing masks.

The pope will travel through the capital to the presidential palace and meet with President Barham Saleh later Friday.

Meeting with Iraqi Christians

During the trip, Francis will meet with leaders of the declining Iraqi Christian community and hold an interfaith meeting at the ancient site of Ur, the traditional birthplace of Biblical Abraham, revered by three religions as the founder of monotheism.

On Saturday, Francis will be received by Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, the leader of the Shia Muslims of Iraq. On Sunday, he will travel to the north of the country, including Mosul, and lead prayers in areas taken over from extremists in the Islamic state.

“I come as a pilgrim, a repentant pilgrim, to ask the Lord for forgiveness and reconciliation after years of war and terrorism,” he said in a video message before the trip. “To ask God for the consolation of hearts and the healing of wounds.”

For Iraqi Christians, whose history goes back almost to the time of Jesus, the visit is eagerly awaited. Pope John Paul II wanted to visit Iraq in 2000, but negotiations with the dictator Saddam Hussein fell through.

“It’s a joy and a blessing,” says day laborer Tony Fawzi, after recently attending mass at a Chaldean Catholic church in Baghdad. “And it’s not just a visit for Christians, but for Iraq in general.”

“‘Work fast’ to prepare

Religious leaders worked hard to prepare for the visit, particularly in the town of Qaraqosh near Mosul, where a Syriac Catholic church was among those burned and gutted in 2014 when ISIS activists set fire to the Nineveh Plains.

“We began rebuilding the church at the end of 2019,” said Father Ammar Yako of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Qaraqosh. They had hoped to complete the renovation in time for this year’s Easter Mass, “but when we learned that the pope was going to visit Iraq, especially this church, we began working quickly to finish it,” he said.

Earthquake shakes West Hartford

“Really, now the church is so beautiful,” he said. “And the first person who will pray there after the renovation will be the Holy Father.

Yako said he could never have imagined such a thing a few years ago. After the city was taken over by ISIS in 2017, the houses were burned down and the inhabitants disappeared. Now just under half of the residents have returned, he says, and perhaps the papal visit will inspire others.

“That’s what we hope this visit will do for the future,” he says.

Private audience with Sistani

In Najaf, however, the Pope’s meeting with Sistani will take place in private audience in the modest house of the reclusive cleric, whom he has rarely left for decades.

The visit is considered historic by the clerical establishment in Najaf, says Hayder al-Khoei, director of international relations at an institute run by his family. His grandfather, Grand Ayatollah Abulqasim al-Khoei, was Sistani’s predecessor and teacher.

“Both the Shia Islamic establishment and the Catholic Church have consistently condemned violence committed in the name of religion,” Khoei said. “And I think this is an issue that will be discussed between the Pope and Sistani.”

He adds that, by coincidence, he met the two men. “And it is striking how similar their personalities are. Thus, even as individuals, in terms of composure, piety, they will meet on a personal level, not only philosophical”.

Coming 2 America is a nostalgic journey in the literal and figurative sense.

This visit comes despite an increase in recent missile attacks on military bases and on the American embassy, whose American officials accuse the militias supported by Iran. Last week, U.S. air strikes hit buildings used by these militias just across the border in S
