In Virginia, NC, there is still a shortage of 278,000 Dominion customers

Tropical Storm Isaiah crossed Hampton Roads on Tuesday morning, bringing strong winds, heavy rain and hurricane warnings to the area.

At 9:00 there were more than 316,000 customers without energy. By 13:00, that number had returned to 278,000, while Dominion workers were working to repair the mountain lines.

In Virginia, NC, there is still a shortage of 278,000 Dominion customers

Just over 240,000 of these customers live in North Carolina and Southeast Virginia.

Early Tuesday morning, Dominion Energy spokeswoman Bonita Billingsley Harris said the company would prioritize repairs to a Virginia beach where more than 50,000 people were without energy.  Beirut blast: An explosion shakes 

13.00 There were still 52,000 people on Virginia Beach without energy.

Suffolk suffered serious disruption before 6:30 in the morning. According to 13News Now meteorologists, the radar confirmed the hurricane landed in the hurricane.

Suffolk city spokeswoman Diana Clink confirmed the storm’s devastation around Rivervue. No injuries were reported.

To date, Chesapeake, Newport News, and Virginia Beach have the largest number of families in the dark.
