“What is love, what to do with it” – Turner’s iconic song number 1 was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame and is listed in Rolling Stone magazine’s “Top 500 Songs of All Time” – accompanied by a brand new video directed by Sarah Bahbach and featuring Laura Harrier (Hollywood, Blecansman) and Charles Michael Davis (movies The Originals, The Vampire Diaries).
“I couldn’t be more excited to work with Tina Turner, an icon I grew up listening to.”
What is love, what do I have to do with it? “It ‘s one of my favorite songs of all time, so I had the opportunity to rework it, a very special moment in my career,” says Turner. Canucks takes the Wild, take the victory from the advance
“I enjoy working with timeless voices and while it’s hard to keep the elements of the original track and add my own touch, I’m extremely happy with the way it turned out,” adds the diva.
It was a great summer for Kygo to release his critically acclaimed third album, Golden Hour, in May, featuring his singles “Lose Somebody” with OneRepublic and “Higher Love” with Whitney Houston, the latest of which is over 651 million audio and video streams combined and placed in the list of 40 best radio charts.
Kygo began his album release day with “Lose Somebody” on OneRepublic and “The Truth” with Valery Broussard on the summer concert series “Good Morning America” and performed on NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallons on OneRepublic on July 22nd.
