The song’s CGI-enhanced backing graphics appear on a mirror with the Weeknd’s mirror head moving through a chandeliered room before merging into a neon dance floor. Directed by Emil Nava, the futuristic music video features city and nature scenes with a trip to space. “I need you to know we’ll never go back / This time it went so badly,” the Weeknd sings during a slow jam that is about to melt forever. “It’s not the same / Because it’s over now / Don’t be too confused, girl, it’s over now / I won’t be coming back / Nothing to lose, girl, it’s over now.”
