Paula Caray, wife of the longtime Braves Skip announcer, dies

Paula Caray, the wife of longtime Braves broadcaster Skip Caray died on Saturday, according to a team announcement.

The statement said,.

Our hearts are heavy with the passing of Paula Caray today, wife of the longtime Braves broadcaster, Skip Caray. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends, including his son Josh and his stepchildren Chip, Cindy and Shayelyn.  Lakers vs Blazers score,

Chip Caray is currently the Braves broadcaster.

Paula and Skip Caray married in 1976. Skip Caray died on August 3, 2008, nine days before his 69th birthday.

Paula Caray continued to live in Atlanta and kept the basement of the house converted into a museum, with entire walls dedicated to the 1995 Braves World Series Championship. Paula Caray recently touched on her husband’s career in an interview with Atlanta. Journal-Constitution in May.
