The power outage affected large parts of Manhattan in New York

Much of Manhattan’s New York City was without energy on Friday morning as at least 1.3 million people are still out of energy on the East Coast after Isaiah devastated the region earlier this week.

He told Edison, the city’s main electricity company, that At 6:30 there are at least 123,808 customers without electricity, including those who previously lost energy due to the storm.

New power outages in New York on Friday, according to the Kon Eda interrupted map, occurred in the Upper West Side, Harlem and Upper East Side neighborhoods.

Thousands of people have been powerless this week because of Isaiah.

“We are aware that it is incredibly frustrating to be without energy, so we work around the clock to get customers back on duty,” Robert Shimmenti, senior vice president of electrical operations at Con Edison, said Thursday. “Additional mutual aid workers and contractors come to us every day to help us restore service safely. We guarantee our customers that our crew members will work around the clock until everyone has regained their strength.
